Procurement Specialist

• The Procurement Specialist role at GiLTEX in Azerbaijan involves sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating logistics for textile-related goods and services.

Key Accountabilities:

• Procure goods and services: Ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing based on internal requisitions.
• Conduct market research: Compare prices and suppliers in both local and international markets.
• Visit local markets: Acquire spare parts and materials directly when needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including supplier information, contracts, invoices, and order history.
• Ensure delivery and quality compliance: Monitor supplier performance and product standards.
• Plan and analyze procurement activities: Improve efficiency and streamline purchasing processes.
• Track the status of orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Use ERP software: Enter orders and track their progress digitally.
• Coordinate with Internal team: Align with Planning & Operation Department to make sure timely and cost-effective Procurement processes are being implemented.
• Coordinate with logistics teams: Align delivery schedules and transportation needs.
