Position summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization, ensuring efficient processes and optimal resource utilization. This role involves managing staff, coordinating workflows, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve productivity and operational effectiveness. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Train, and supervise a diverse team of employees. Foster a positive work environment and ensure high levels of employee engagement and performance.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards. Address and resolve customer concerns and feedback promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Oversee cash handling processes, including daily reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records. Ensure compliance with cash management policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term operational strategies and goals in alignment with the company’s vision and objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
