School of Education (SE)

Building on teaching as a central part of scholarly identity of ADA University, the School of Education was established in 2015 as the heir of the previous School of Humanities and Sciences. Born out of the immediate need of the country to train modern educators, who, in turn, enable “educated modern citizenry”, the School pursues innovative and dynamic education programs and hands-on research in collaboration with local public school partners. 

Currently focused on graduate studies, the School of Education commits itself to addressing the educational needs of learners of all ages and works closely with decision and policy makers in the national education sector.

SE is offering its graduate programs in Azerbaijani and English languages. 

SE graduate programs delivered in Azerbaijani are offered in a hybrid mode, combining online learning with five campus-based sessions of one week each in two locations (Baku and Gazakh).

Academic staff is expected to teach graduate courses in Azerbaijani and English languages.

Academic staff is also expected to spend up to two months per academic year at ADA Gazakh Center under SE’ graduate programs in Azerbaijani language with a purpose of teaching, mentoring students, and conducting research.

Position

The School of Education at ADA University invites candidates with professional and scholarly expertise in educational leadership and management, and/or effective teaching and learning, or related fields to apply for the open-rank professor position starting in Fall 2025 for full time faculty  position for teaching courses in MAEM Azerbaijani language program, Gazakh.

The School of Education is seeking dynamic, energetic, and entrepreneurial scholars who are eager to work collaboratively in an international environment.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
