- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A foreign diploma will be considered a significant advantage.
- Additional certifications in compliance (e.g., CAMS, CCEP) are highly valued.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, preferably in energy, investment, international finance, or a related sector.
- Extensive understanding of international compliance requirements, such as those outlined by FATF and OECD guidelines.
- Strong understanding of local and international regulatory environments, including AML/CTF and anti-corruption laws.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and independently implement compliance programs.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including head office teams.
- Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

- Adhere to applicable local and international regulations, including those related to anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, corruption, and sanctions compliance
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Perform due diligence on business partners, vendors, and third-party entities to ensure compliance with local and international best practices.
- Develop and align company policies with global regulatory compliance standards, international financial integrity guidelines.
- Act as the primary compliance liaison with the head office, ensuring consistent practices and standards across entities.
- Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees to foster a culture of integrity and awareness.
- Provide clear guidance and advice to management and staff on compliance-related matters.
- Establish robust monitoring mechanisms to track compliance performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management and the head office.
