Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead React Native Developer with expertise in React Native (web, iOS, and Android) to join our core team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building cross-platform mobile and web applications using React Native, as well as experience with backend technologies such as Firebase for managing authentication, real-time databases, and cloud functions. You will be responsible for leading the development of our mobile app, developing and optimizing user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience across platforms, and collaborating with back-end engineers to integrate data and services. A passion for clean, maintainable code and a commitment to delivering high-quality, performant applications are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop the core mobile application using React Native
- Collaborate with backend team, maintain code quality standards using best practices in testing, code review, and documentation
- Partake in Front-End devops including setting up CI/CD pipelines, testing workflows, and deployment processes
- Drive feature development by assessing technical feasibility, prototyping, and iterating based on user feedback and performance metrics
Additional Nice to Have:
- Experience in performance optimization for e.g. load times and memory usage, and using tools like the React Native Profiler
- Experience with push notifications, as well as user analytics and engagement tracking tools (e.g. Mixpanel)
