Required skills:
- Study: Bachelor or master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Statistics.
- Experience: minimum 2-3 years.
- Knowledge (language, programs, etc.): Fluent in Azerbaijani and English skills, Russian is preferrable.
- Technical skills: advanced use of MS Office, Power BI, SQL, Python and related tools.
Special Skills (speech, analytical thinking etc.):
- Theoretical knowledge of generally accepted principles and rules of accounting, international financial management and economic principles;
- Proven logical, analytical and financial modeling skills;
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships;
- Accuracy, attentiveness, planning and organizational skills.
Personal qualities (stress-resistant, etc.): Stress-resistant, teamwork skills, presentation skills, strong self-discipline and deadline culture, knowledge of corporate finance, information analysis and financial diagnosis.
Additional notes: Candidates with ACCA, CFA or experience in the insurance industry will be preferred.

Financial Analyst Roles & Responsibilities:
- Direct participation in the preparation of monthly corporate reports ("Management Report") and semi-annual and annual financial statements of the Company's International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS");
- Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as yearly growth, return on assets, return on equity and other insurance related analysis.
- Identifying financial performance trends and financial risk, and making recommendations.
- Study a company’s data to give advice for guiding business and overall financial strategy.
- Contributes to the development of the internal reporting system using business intelligence solutions and to support the continuous improvement of the process.
Other Responsibilities
- Direct participation in the development of software for the activity directions and automation of the relevant processes;
- Participate in the analysis of the financial condition of the insurance portfolio;
- Participate in the provision of external information;
- Other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor (financial analysis, data collection, etc.).
