Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with MS SQL Server, including writing T-SQL queries and basic database design.
Basic knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization (PTO).
Understanding of database backup and recovery processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills in database administration and development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Assist in the management and maintenance of MS SQL Server databases.
Write and optimize queries, stored procedures, and triggers under the guidance of senior developers.
Support the monitoring of database performance and perform routine database tuning.
Assist in ensuring data integrity, backups, and recovery processes.
Collaborate with the IT team and business units to understand requirements and assist in developing database solutions.
Support in performing database migrations, upgrades, and regular maintenance.
Help troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support as needed.
