Adjunct Instructor in Econometrics II

The School of Business at ADA University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Econometrics II within the Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance program for the Summer 2025 semester.

Course Description – Econometrics II

• Econometrics II is an advanced undergraduate course that builds upon foundational econometric techniques to emphasize empirical applications. The course focuses on time series analysis and advanced panel data methods, including fixed and random effects models, instrumental variable (IV) estimation, and two-stage least squares (2SLS). It is computationally intensive, with an emphasis on hands-on implementation using software such as STATA or R. Students participate in lab sessions and collaborate on a term project that develops skills in independent quantitative research and real-world data analysis.

Key Topics: Time series models, advanced panel data techniques, difference-in-differences, fixed and random effects, instrumental variables, two-stage least squares (2SLS).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with course objectives and outcomes.
• Inspire analytical and critical thinking in students.
