Education:

  • Preferable have a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • Trainer certificate, Trainer certificate and Knowledge about Health and Satety.
  • Computer literate (MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Opera).

 

Languages:

  • Essential: Fluent in English
  • Desirable: Multi lingual

 

Experience:

Essential:

  • Have prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a 5-star luxury hotel.
  • Excellent in organization/ planning/delegation/ prioritizing/ problem solving.

 

Possess a basic knowledge of the following areas:

  • Floor supervision   
  • Public areas
  • Office management
  • Linen room management
  • Work with textiles, fabrics and other materials
  • Use of cleaning products
  • Scheduling housekeeping administration

Workplace: Pik Palace & Park Chalet, Shahdag Hotel Company

 

Scope of Job:

To manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry and dry-cleaning operation (hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry).

 

Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate, liaise and communicate with all other departments and within housekeeping department.
  • To respond to guest request and complaints.
  • To ensure that our action plans within the department are updated and on target.
  • To ensure that the department objectives are updated and on target.
  • To pass on the suggestion, comments and recommendations of the guests to the Housekeeping team.
  • To ensure through effective supervision that all services offered in the Housekeeping Department are always available and are carried out with outmost efficiency and courtesy as per the Standard Operating Procedure.
  • To liaise with the Laundry and Engineering Departments to ensure the smooth flow of linen supplies and repair work.
  • To liaise with the Front Office on anticipated guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignment and rooming list, etc.
  • To be responsible for the inventory of guest supplies, linen, uniforms and the ordering and replacement when necessary.
  • To make recommendations for modernization of equipment, cleaning methods and set-up of guest supplies.
  • To be responsible for ordering of cleaning supplies and guest supplies and to check that they are handed and stored correctly.
  • To liaise with hotel’s contracted companies for pest control to ensure an effective programme is constituted and maintained.
  • To ensure that all Suites and VIP arrival rooms are checked prior to the arrival of guests for 100% readiness.
  • To ensure that all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulation are strictly enforced by all Housekeeping Colleagues.
  • To conduct regular Housekeeping meetings to keep Housekeeping Attendant informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments.
